Spring Cleaning – Donate What You’re Not Using!

Getting rid of large appliances, electronics, and furniture is an important part of spring cleaning. But that doesn’t mean that those old belongings have to go to waste – why not recycle them or donate them to a good cause? Broken belongings can be recycled, and belongings still in good working condition can be donated to a local charity or thrift shop.

Broken electronics tend to pile up over time, becoming a leading culprit of apartment clutter. Electronics contain metal and materials that can be recycled and reused to make new components. Broken electronics can pile up over the years, so recycling them will clear up space and help preserve the environment.

The following common electronics can be recycled:

  • Cell phones
  • PCs
  • Laptops

  • Printer cartridges
